Logo Contest

Learning Goal:

Create and present media art works that are highly appropriate  for a variety of specific audiences and venues.

 

You are Grade 12 students, so it's time to get your work out in the real world and published! A winning logo would be the perfect accompaniment to a University or College application, or job resume.

 

Success Criteria:

Research and apply conventions specific to each client's project specifications.

Consider the audience of each work.

Create 3 drastically different interpretations for each project.

 

Art Works Textbook Cover

Success Criteria

size 8.5x11

Creative and original design

Incorporate all artistic skills you have learned

Option: Incorporate the title Art Works. They will accept only cover designs as well.

Success Criteria:

Maximum of two colours plus white (like the logo pictured below)

must include the board of education's logo (save it from below)

a logo created by you to represent this year's theme: "Energy for Life"

The phrase "Fit Week 2012"

Option: A slogan for the theme "Energy for Life"

Think about EDHS and attempt to capture an idea that will appeal to the school as a whole.

Knowledge- does the logo  and finished product represent what the client (Board of Education, Art Works, EDHS) is looking for. The client background and ultimate audience of the client is kept in mind. Meets all specifications noted above.

Logo is clear, imaginative, and creative.
